For B&B list and for the Restaurant's a-la-carte menu we accept every credit and cash cards. During the week-ends we recommend that you pay on the arrival in order to avoid the wait in the morning on a departure day.
At what time can I get to the hotel?
Rooms are available from 2 pm. You can also check-in early in the morning: if your room is not yet available, you could leave your luggage in a special room. Arriving earlier than scheduled, you can enjoy our bar, the swimming pool, the garden and the terrace, and the playground for children. We apologize for any kind of delay during the days with many arrivals and departures.
Until what time of the night can I get to the hotel? (late check-in)
If you think, you will arrive after 7 pm, we kindly ask you to inform us by phone or e-mail. In fact, we can manage to keep the restaurant open until 10 pm, to prepare you something to eat. The door-keeper will welcome you at any time during the night.
At what time do I have to leave the room?
We expect our Guests to leave the room before 10–10:30 am in order to allow us to clean it for the arrival of the next Guest.
What will happen in case of advanced departure?
If the client has to leave the hotel in advance, excluding any unexpected events documented and attributed to the hotel owner or his employees, the hotel owner may cancel any special offers and promotions and, if the stay lasts less than three days, he may apply standard prices for the services supplied. As compensation for the damages caused to the hotel owner, an indemnity equivalent to the price of the room for the number of days until the end of the trip and up to a maximum of three days, will be paid as well as payment of the services used. In this case the deposit will be deducted from the final price. If the room has been rebooked in the period covered by payment of the indemnity, this amount may be reimbursed to the defaulting client.

What happens in case of cancellation?
The Guest can cancel his booking and rescind the contract. In this case he has the right to have a part of the deposit he paid refunded. We operate a graduated refund policy depending how much notice of cancellation you give.

The Columbia Hotel is located on the seafront right in the center of Marina Romea, in the main square. A narrow strip of natural pinewood separates Marina Romea to the beach (almost 400 meters); you can easily reach the beach on foot, walking through the pinewood, also by bike or car (during some periods of the year we don't suggest the use of the car).
Are animals allowed to stay in the hotel? My pet is so tiny!!
Animals, of any kind, are not allowed, even of small or tiny size. Thank you for your understanding!
Is the hotel accessible to disabled people?
The Columbia Hotel has the access for disabled people. It offers a stairlift TGR Jolly, which must be attached to the wheelchair. Then, driven by an operator it will take the person upstairs.
Only one room (on the 1st floor) has got bathroom with wheelchair access; the guests of the other rooms can use two common use bathrooms on the 1st floor, equipped with bath-tub and shower, that are external to the room.
There are at least 2 ways to get to Mirabilandia: the shortest is 20 km long. The Hotel will give you a simple map and all the information requested.
Yes, usually there is a shuttle bus for Mirabilandia, provided by an external service, which leaves right in front of the hotel. The service is available from June to September, on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Departure at 9.30 am from the Columbia Hotel, return at 6 pm from Mirabilandia. The return ticket costs about € 8,50 per person. Otherwise, you can use also the public service: bus n°90 from the hotel to Ravenna, then take bus n°176 or 44 from Ravenna to Mirabilandia.
The entry ticket to Mirabilandia is given according to Mirabilandia's own rules:
We give our guests the tickets to Mirabilandia when they're necessary. E.g., children tall less than 1 meter don't need the entry ticket to Mirabilandia: therefore they won't be given any ticket.
For how many days is the ticket to Mirabilandia valid?
The ticket is valid for three consecutive days. Before getting out of the park, the guest should ask for the bracelet that will guarantee the entrance for the next day. For the guest who does not ask for the bracelet or does not keep it entire until the following day, we regret that hotel will not be able to provide new one.
