How to reach Marina Romea and Ravenna
The Columbia Hotel is located in the centre of Marina Romea, in the main square (piazza Italia). While driving the S.S. 309-Romea (state highway), both from north and south of Italy, you'll get to a signpost indicating “Marina Romea”: follow it and take “Via delle Valli”, a road that's situated between the Lamone River and the north part of the pinewood and the valley (the “Piallassa della Baiona”). When you get to Marina Romea, drive through the seafront (or better, pinewood-front ;) ) untill Piazza Italia: you're here!
Interacting with Google Maps it is possible to calculate the journey from anywhere to the Columbia Hotel.
Just click here to calculate the route, or check the following embedded map.
We have highlighted in blue the short distance between the Columbia Hotel and the sea.
From Rome, from southern Italy, by car
From Florence, Milan, Bologna, northern Italy, by car
By train or by plane
Travelling by train, check the national railway lines web-site (www.trenitalia.com) and indicate Ravenna as your destination.
Indeed, from Ravenna railway station you can take a bus (n°90) that stops right in front of the hotel. It's possible to get the ticket at “Punto Bus” (an office just outside the station, on the right).
The bus n°90 leaves from the street behind “Punto Bus”, in front of Hotel Minerva.
Travelling by plane, the closest airports are “Guglielmo Marconi” in Bologna (90 km) and “Giacomo Ridolfi” in Forlì (30 km). From theese airports you can reach the Columbia Hotel just asking us for the shuttle bus from/to the airport (max 4 people).
